Complex transparencies in web to print designs may produce unexpected colour variations due to colour profile mismatches and colour space conversions. ZetaPrints web-to-print software has a special colour compensation option for advanced effects.

Complex transparency example

This web-to-print design utilises an image transparency in “Add” mode, which gives the text its ripple effect. The image on the left was processed by our web-to-print software without colour compensation, while image on the right had compensation added. Colour compensation can be added by checking on advanced effects option on Upload template files or Edit template pages.

Warning: Checking this option on significantly delays preview generation. It can add 10 seconds or more depending on size and complexity of the template.
