Kerning example

This example has 2 text frames with identical font, but different kerning. The bottom text has kerning set at 150%.

The kerning of the second text frame will be preserved by the system because it was set using Paragraph Text settings.

Practical application

Some times it is easier to provide a single text input for what is essentially multiple fields if they form a simple table as in this example from a real estate template.

Instead of 4 fields called:

• Bedrooms
• Bathrooms
• Garages
• Pools

there can be one field:

• Bed/Bath/Garage/Pool (e.g. 3210)
